The Role and What You'll Do:

The HR Manager will act as a trusted partner to business leaders on key aspects of the Human Resources function including employee relations, performance management, organizational development, employee engagement and the implementation of HR programs & initiatives.
• Partner and develop relationships with assigned BU Managers and Leaders to deliver an HR agenda which supports the business strategy.
• Supporting the VP, Human Resources to ensure consistent and effective delivery of all HR activities for the Olympic and Paralympic business unit.
• Work closely with the HR Operations team to ensure that all administrative processes and protocols are adhered to.
• Deliver the onboarding process for new joiners.
• Carry out exit interviews, identifying any trends and provide feedback.
• Partner with the HR functional areas to deliver HR initiatives which add value to the business:
• Contribute to Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to embed a culture of inclusion and equity.
• Working in partnership with the Recruitment team to ensure roles are prioritized and filled to support business needs.
• In conjunction with the Compensation and Benefits team, work on the reward strategy and ensure consistency across the wider company and industry by regularly benchmarking and assessing existing and future roles.
• Partnering with the Learning and Development team to implement L&D initiatives which embed a mindset of continuous improvement, allowing the opportunity for employees at all levels to develop their skills.
• Alignment with the Employment Legal team to address complex Employee Relation issues.
• Contribute to and assist with implementing all other HR programs as needed.
• Manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances.
• Apply HR and business knowledge to support stakeholders, sharing best practice advice in line with Italian employment law.
• Provide solutions and suggestions to improve HR workflows across the business unit.
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

You Have These
• Experience as an established HR Generalist at a Manager level or above.
• Experience of managing a varied HR case workload -– including analytics, talent management, and employee relations.
• Sound and up to date knowledge of key Italian employment legislation.
• Well versed in D&I language and best practice.
• Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of stakeholders at a senior level.
• Ability to remain calm in emotionally charged situations.
• Able to manage a varied workload with conflicting priorities.
• Ability to see the bigger picture and implement a cohesive approach across all HR activities.
• Able to exercise sound judgement, suggest logical solutions to problems and make decisions.
• Should be able to respond and adapt to change. Client focused, consultative, and flexible in their approach.
• Motivated, with an enthusiasm for and interest in how HR must support and contribute to the business.
• Able to accept delegated responsibility and exercise initiative and judgement.
• HR qualification e.g CIPD level, or equivalent.
• A solid understanding of MS office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
