This role offers the opportunity for a candidate with a passion for engineering and a strong sense of ownership to be involved in the design and implementation of solutions to enable self-service operations. Improve the application code base operational aspects (monitoring, instrumentation, alerting, security). Influence and propagate good operational practices within a motivated and energetic broader engineering team.

Skills and Requirements:
• Experience running Java applications in production
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS cloud preferably)
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol and principles
• Knowledge of network principles and practices
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms and solutions
• Experience with automation frameworks (Ansible / Puppet / Chef / other)
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong bias to action and ownership
• Experience in Kubernetes (nice to have)
