Job Description
Hall des Lumières is a permanent digital art center for custom-designed immersive art experiences, created by Culturespaces, France's leading private manager of museums and cultural heritage sites, and IMG, a global leader in events, media and fashion.

Hall des Lumières is located at 49 Chambers Street, inside the historic, landmarked Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank, and opens on September 14, 2022 with the debut exhibition Gustav Klimt: Gold in Motion.

Working under the supervision of the Senior Director of Marketing, The Group Sales and Tourism Manager is the primary person responsible for actively prospecting for, soliciting, and securing group visits (tour and non-tour groups) and coordinating the daily operations of the group sales program.

The core focus of this position is the development of sustained group attendance that meets established annual revenue and visitation goals.

Additional duties include working with local tourism and concierge organizations to build the Hall des Lumières' presence in the tourism industry, toward the goal of increasing attendance.

The manager will perform a range of duties including selling group tickets, processing and coordinating all group requests, handling all group customer inquiries, generating and tracking leads, producing status reports, and generating sales data.
Other duties include working with the local industry and concierge organization to build the organization's presence in the tourism industry, with the aim of increasing attendance.

In this role, you will perform the following tasks:
• Build and grow Hall des Lumières' group sales and tourism program including strategy and programming; establish performance measures, monitor results, and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives.
• Development and use of customer relationship management system; track all group sales leads, inquiries, lost business and revenue.
• Drive new and repeat group sales through various efforts (networking, prospecting, etc) to maximize repeat exhibition attendance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within partners, concierge & hospitality industries; form long-term trusting relationships with key clients
• Work closely with the Marketing team to plan and implement effective group sales strategies, including packaging tours, direct mail, advertising, trade shows and special exhibition promotions with hotels, airlines and tour operators
• Work with Marketing and PR to engage tourism partners (travel, hotel, etc).
• Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant local tourism and group organizations including but not limited to Hotel Groups, Concierge, Tour Operators, Tour Planners.
• Track and coordinate tour group agreements, contracts, and billing
• Contribute to overall revenue and ticket sales targets
• Conduct surveys, analyze data, develop reports, and determine best practices and cost effective strategies for enterprise and tour group sales
• Schedule and conduct site tours for visiting planners and clients; plan special events as applicable.
• Attend travel industry tradeshows and hospitality networking events to promote Hall des Lumières
• Propose new strategies or programming to drive group and tour sales; work with Marketing and Hospitality to execute.

Requirements and qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing or related field.
• Strong interest in the tourism and experiential industries, keeping up shifting trends and competitor strategies
• Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to make presentations to groups of various sizes
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients
• Exceptional skills in sales and customer relations; provides the highest customer service.
• Well organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate willingness to work as an individual and a group
• Exercise good judgment and initiative
