Job Overview

The Executive Director of Digital + Content Strategy will be responsible for overseeing IMG Fashion's digital content strategy and management of our digital content + social team.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, creative and analytical; candidates should have significant experience managing a digital team, a high taste level and a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in fashion, entertainment or lifestyle social content, as well as successful digital-first campaigns.

This role will oversee IMG's digital and content team and a robust seasonal team of content producers during our key events and will develop always-on social and digital content strategy that grows organic traffic audience against all owned and operated channels. During tentpole events, this role will be very hands on in the creation, execution and distribution of photography and video assets, ensuring that each channels' brand personality and standards are met.

This role reports to the President, IMG Fashion Events and sits on the Senior Leadership Team.

CORE COMPETENCIES
• Oversee digital and social team, strategy and execution to ensure organic traffic and audience across all content channels including social, OTT, websites
• Develop and execute strategy and implementation including editorial content calendars, content creation, performance forecasts and reports, marketing and insights
• Manage and develop key relationships and business partnerships across social platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc), designer teams, production, media partners and streaming companies
• Report on social metrics such as growth, engagement, conversation and amplification across channels and platforms on regular basis to inform strategy and meet KPI goals.
• Lead team in developing editorial posting and creation of written, photo and video content in keeping with our core brand DNA
• Develop and implement omni channel strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Designer Relations, Production, programming) to ensure editorial strategy encapsulates and supports all areas of the IMG Fashion business across paid and organic
• Strategize to meet KPIS and growth across all editorial and client channels and campaigns; monitor real-time data and adjust as needed to achieve desired results
• Oversee full time team plus robust seasonal team of content producers, influencers, creators, social amplification managers for all creative content, including photography, videography Instagram Lives, and TikTok content, live streams, website
• Identify and develop revenue generating campaigns and custom content activations in partnership with sales and marketing. Lead development and execution of client campaigns and amplification strategy
• Manage department budgets effectively across salary, content and paid social budgets
• Craft platform-endemic content strategies to distill campaign messaging uniquely to each social platform (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, NYFW.com, TikTok, MA.DE, Focus and email)
• Collaborate with broader Endeavor, WME and IMG's sister properties- including The Wall Group, IMG Models, art + commerce, IMG Lens, Endeavor Streaming - to weave in content and talent from the larger portfolio where appropriate
• Foster a collaborative work environment, demonstrate leadership abilities, and build meaningful relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 10+ of experience in leading digital content creation, social media
• Strong managerial experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in high-stress environments and live events, able to make decisions under pressure and course-correct when necessary
• Existing relationship with social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Snap, Twitter, etc)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with authority, and to engage effectively at all levels
• Must be amenable to flexible schedule based on seasonal event and activation needs and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• A proven track record of growing and evolving brands' digital teams and communications to serve business needs.
• Strong knowledge of social media KPIs and social measurement tools, as well as paid media strategies
• Expertise utilizing Photoshop, and InDesign
• Live event experience a plus
