THE ROLE
On Location is seeking a talented marketing coordinator to join our team to support our marketing efforts across major events categories including Motorsports, Golf, NCAA and more..
The ideal candidate is someone passionate about sports and sports business with an understanding and appreciation for Motorsports, Golf and the NCAA. This individual should be able to pivot and work on multiple tasks concurrently. Driven with high attention to detail with a roll-up-their-sleeves mentality with an appreciation for how marketing drives sales/revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Support Marketing leads with driving revenue through digital and paid media, partner assets, web integration, etc.
• Team up to prepare marketing plans and strategy
• Own operational tasks including but not limited to:
• Manage the timeline of key deliverables
• Working with our creative team to shepherd the creative process for key customized assets (digital, video, email, social) promoting key initiatives
• Traffic creative to partners for approval
• Traffic customized creative assets to each team
• Organize key marketing assets in our shared asset management system
• Assist with creation and delivery of production files for branded event assets
• Ultimately this role will grow with experience to take on more and more responsibility to become the day to day point person for a sports vertical.
Qualifications
• College Degree in marketing with some entry-level experience/internships preferred.
• Experience with Outlook, Asana, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Analytics a plus.
• No fear of data and tracking our success
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong competency to build relationships with partners and manage up to marketing leadership
• Ability to develop a positive and effective relationship with coworkers, partners and customers
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Travel
Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays.
