Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• To oversee the production and editorial of live on-site World Feed & programmes of MLS match coverage, overseeing a team of Freelance Producer, Directors & AP's
• Assisting with sourcing & engaging regional Freelance Producers, Directors & AP's for each live match
• Promoting a progressive and positive culture within our teams, supporting the values of IMG Media. Collaboration, Excellence, Inclusion, Entrepreneurialism and Persistence
• Supporting the D&I initiatives across the department
• Build an environment that drives performance and accountability
• Training of Freelance Producers, Directors & AP's to ensure consistency of coverage and production values
• To prepare running orders, brief editorial teams, liaise with on-screen talent
• Work closely with Production Management on the commercial, corporate and client deliverables
• Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcasters/clients as appropriate
• To deliver live on-site World Feed & programmes on-time and on budget
• To assist in the definition of the editorial content and direction of the World Feed / programmes, and ensure consistency across the output
• Forward planning, ideas generation and the ability to think creatively and inspire and coach teams to do the same
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc.
• Required to respond to the needs of the MLS sporting calendar
• Requires weekend working and regional/international travel

Person Specification

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory
• Previous experience as a Coordinating / Live Producer or Director within a major sports television production team
• An extensive portfolio of work covering a variety of sports production, including Soccer
• An understanding of all the operational and logistical requirements of live OB on-site programming
• Experience of dealing with Onscreen Talent (e.g. Presenters, Commentators, Sports Personalities)
• Understanding of platform technologies
• Strong market knowledge
• Sound commercial skills with an ability to match editorial and commercial objectives
• Ability to deliver against challenging deadlines
• Facilitate and deliver change management
• Experience of managing key client relationships at a senior level
• An in-depth knowledge of production market trends, both in sport and non-sport

Skills and Abilities

Mandatory
• Excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• An ability to work collectively in a team environment
• Good financial understanding / business awareness
• Experience managing production teams
• Experience in producing running orders and dealing with all aspects of live TV production

Qualifications and Training

Mandatory
• Previous experience as an established Coordinating / Live Producer or Director
• Relevant and up-to-date production technical knowledge and workflows

Hiring Range Minimum:
$112,500 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:
$165,000 annually
