Assistant to SVP, Associate General Counsel - Immigration:

Role & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a qualified candidate to provide administrative assistance for the SVP, Associate General Counsel - Immigration in New York. Experience in an in-house corporate legal department or transactional law firm is a plus, as is entertainment industry experience. Must be detail-oriented, personable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Heavy immigration case administration
• Administrative duties (manage deadlines and expenses; prepare applications for filing; coordinate calls and meetings; organize travel)
• Interact with agents, agency clients and internal/external executives as well as external counsel
• Organize and maintain files and keep to deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Administrative experience supporting an executive strongly preferred
• Interest in sports or entertainment law a plus
• Exceptional oral and written communications
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills
• Ability to work with all levels of employees and clients
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail-oriented, proactive and accountable; problem-solving skills a must
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines with accuracy
• Upbeat temperament, flexibility and adaptability as new responsibilities are assigned
