About our team: We are starting a new team composed of a mixture of veterans of EA/EA SPORTS and new talent from across industries. With some of the most valuable sports IP in the world, and the resources EA has to offer, we have access to the capabilities needed to deliver amazing new experiences for an expanded audience of players worldwide.

About the role: As a UX Designer, you will report to the UX Design Director, and create user interfaces using modern user experience practices, employ systematic thinking, and an understanding of player motivations, to deliver the best possible experience for our players.

Your Responsibilities:
• Expertise using modern interaction design practices, use of typography, the psychology of color, layouts, visual systems and up-to-date trends in the digital world.
• Establish a vision through simple, elegant designs, user-flows, interaction patterns, user end-to-end flows.
• Create compelling UX approaches, UI solutions, interaction behaviors, and design systems.
• Facilitate collaboration and agreement with functional partners and UX design peers
• Advocate for design excellence, craftsmanship, accessibility, and usability

Your Qualifications:
• A portfolio of delivered projects, games, and other digital experiences
• Experience with usability principles and techniques, interaction design and design patterns
• The ability to translate qualitative and quantitative player data into design solutions and design strategy
• Harvest feedback through rapid iterative prototyping (klick through flows, storyboard, etc)
• Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Flinto, etc.
• 4+ years of experience (or equivalent) in interaction design, game design, product design, or related field
• Experience working in a dynamic distributed team setting

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $108,700 - $166,550
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $107,450 - $166,550
• New Jersey (depending on location e.g. Jersey City vs. Trenton):
º $107,450 - $166,550
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $107,450 - $153,250
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $107,450 - $153,250

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
