This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).
We are looking for a Senior QA Director to lead QV delivery for our Lifestyle games onsite in Bogota, Colombia, reporting to the Head of QV Delivery for our Lifestyle products.
Responsibilities
• You will manage a group of leaders driving the delivery of QA services for multiple products including The Sims and Skate.
• You will advocate for what the Lifestyle team in Bogota needs, driving efficiencies across the site, setting expectations and driving your teams to meet commitments.
• You will build and grow teams by using both permanent and temporary talent as part of sustainable multi-year staffing strategies.
• You will partner with leaders across different geographical locations to build cohesive strategies allowing our QV teams to support product development
• You will guide all hiring in Bogota for these teams. Knowledge of the local market is a must, including ability to connect with candidates and maintaining a wide professional network.
• You will guide the progression of QV evolution for your teams focused on defect prevention/containment, test automation and collaborative efforts between QA and Development with a focus on efficiency and value to our players and product teams.
• You will advocate for a leadership mindset across the QV Organization
Qualifications
• 7+ years of project management experience in game development or a complex Software Quality Assurance setting
• Experience navigating and coordinating across a variety of teams and organizations both locally and remote
• Excellent verbal and written literacy in English to report product and project status
• Experience using metrics to identify and measure improvements
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools
• Mobile and Live Service experience desirable
