Role Overview:
Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in providing strategic partnership to leaders across EA. We achieve this through effectively engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help drive EA's current and future performance.

The EA Sports Senior Finance Manager role is based in North America, supporting Global Commercial Management. The Sr. Finance Manager will oversee some of our most recognizable Sports Brands and provide global franchise finance support (forecasts, reporting, and other financial modeling) on retail and digital revenue through margin (including revenue reductions, revenue and inventory reserves, and royalties). To deliver these responsibilities, the Sr. Finance Manager will lead a team of 3 direct reports and partner with many cross functional groups including EA Sports business partners, Studio Finance, Accounting, and Corporate FP&A. The position reports to the Sr. Finance Director Global Commercial planning based in Geneva.

What You'll Do:
• Business Partnering
• Build relationships with partners and actively collaborate to work towards meeting financial and business objectives
• Prepare, hold, and present business reviews for leaders focused on the story (not just data) with clear insights and actionable presentation material
• Drive results by partnering on business-related projects such as modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics
• Financial Close, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis
• Own the full game revenue financial forecast and provide insightful analysis to highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk / improve performance
• Manage weekly revenue R&Os for all Sports titles
• Provide deep financial analysis focused on a variety of areas such as optimizing revenue and/or profitability and evaluating ROI of promotions
• Anticipate risks and partner with the business to identify trade-offs and mitigation plans
• Partner with the Accounting group to manage Close deliverables, timelines, process, and reporting
• Design and implement reporting tools
• Drive FP&A Excellence
• Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, standardize and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes
• Challenge status quo and provide alternative solutions
• Lead a team
• Lead and foster a culture of inclusion where diversity is celebrated
• Train, coach, motivate and challenge team members in their development and career path
• Reinforce the value of collaboration to achieve an objective
• Implement best practices, processes, and standards

Who You Are:
• Experience leading, motivating, and coaching a global team
• Able to manage through ambiguity with a bias for solutions and action
• Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high degree of change
• A team player able to work collaboratively, within the group and cross-functionally across business units/functions as a thought leader and partner

Preferred Experience and Technical Skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CPA a plus
• Minimum 8 years of related financial experience, Commercial Retail and Digital Revenue experience a plus
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau and Oracle preferred
