EA's Data & Analytics team is growing to better support our vast portfolio of game live services. Reporting to the Head of Data Products, the Senior Director of Product Management leads a team of product managers and oversees the delivery of leading-edge next generation data products created within our team. In this leadership role, you will demonstrate your passion for product development by leading the strategy, roadmaps, and success of a portfolio of data products. You will collaborate with partners and other central teams. An important aspect of this role is advocating for our data products within EA and identifying future product opportunities to improve efficiency to the analyst, engineering, and data science communities within EA.

You have deep familiarity and passion in the data domain.

This role can be performed on-site hybrid or fully remote in Montreal or Toronto.

Main Responsibilities:
• Be an inspiring product expert to develop a clear vision and long-term strategy of the data products team and translate the vision into actionable plans.
• Establish a culture of product-first innovation, iteration and excellence.
• Develop our Product Management operations to manage our product portfolio though the Product Development Lifecycle aligned to our goals and data strategy
• Use product performance analytics to make design and execution decisions.
• Manage a team of product managers to build a trusted and business-focused practice.
• Build relationships with important partners/leaders and navigate across departments to collaborate on priorities leading to product execution.
• Partner with Business Intelligence, Data Governance, Data Architecture, Data Science, Data Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure seamless execution of product plans.
• Identify improvement opportunities and future partner needs that enhance game development, engineering, analytics or data science workflows and respond with product recommendations and product roadmap decisions.
• Approve high-level requirements, acceptance criteria, and indicators that push the product strategy forward and achieve main objectives.
• Identify operational or product risks and collaborate across different departments to address them before they impact partners.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and customer needs. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify potential opportunities for innovation.

Required Qualifications:
• You have 10+ Years of proven experience in data-driven and evidence-based product management, with a track record of successful internal product launches.
• You have 7+ Years in leadership product roles, at Director level or above.
• Experience hiring and developing both individual contributors and managers.
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, experience presenting to senior executive audiences.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities to drive consensus and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, specifically in data products.
• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics or analytics related relevant field (or equivalent work experience in a related field).

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $193,600 - $271,700 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
