In this role, you will lead, build and manage a commercial intelligence, analytics and insights team that will conduct studies and analyses to help teams deeply understand the Asia Market and their audience, opportunities, & product resonance to inform the direction, experience, planning, and features of EAs games across the lifecycle and platforms. You'll also deeply study the overall games & entertainment landscape and their audiences to inform our overall portfolio approach and planning. Your team's scientific skill-set coupled with audience insight and deep will ensure that we are crafting experiences that are tailored made for the Asia Player.

You will work with studio product managers, demand planners, business management, marketing, data scientists, commercial leads, and analysts across the region and the company to support and drive innovative solutions for growth. You will be the expert on 3rd party data resources and a promoter of commercial intelligence in the organization. We are looking for a combination of quantitative rigor with an understanding of what makes games and marketing great in Asia. As the Snr Director of Asia Intelligence and Planning, you will take a leadership role for special projects that support commercial and marketing projects.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research of game companies, markets, technologies, and competitors using a variety of resources.
• Drive work results efficiently and effectively (both through individual contribution and through your team), working in deep partnership with embedded studio PM teams where appropriate.
• Work with regional marketing and commercial teams to follow marketplace trends, technology adoption, competitive activity, and player needs.
• Apply structured process, incorporating primary and secondary data sources, to create relevant insights.
• Distil data into concise analysis/reports and presentations, with recommendations and effects to help decisions.
• Partner with Business Management to identify and improve narratives for new platforms, partners and markets/segments.
• Develop go to market framework for bringing new mobile games to market for best commercial outcome.
• Influence product across game teams through rigorous analysis and communications.
• Support a centralized repository of all test and learn/growth hacking programs.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of commercial intelligence leaders and analysis– helping develop and enhance their careers at EA

Requirements:
• 5+ years in a consulting, financial planning & analysis, business or marketing analytics role
• 10+ years of experience in downloadable or streaming content services with a preference for free to play gaming throughout lifecycle; understanding of the game design and economic systems that move metrics or tertiary education (B.S. in a quantitative field such as Math/Statistics, CS, Engineering, Business, Economics or similar)
• High level of comfort with working across varied datasets and delivering insight-driven commercial analysis
• Experience building and delivering succinct presentations to describe recommendations to an executive audience
• Strong understanding of the Asia Market Place
• Experience building and leading cross-functional teams
