The Release Manager is the part of our Production & Operations team that is responsible for release schedules and coordination between partners like Producers, Development leads, Quality, and Marketing, Data Analyst and Product Managers to implement a successful Build Management process and Live operations strategies to increase performance and quality of our product.
Reporting to the Development Director, the Release Manager, will work with the team to manage the release process through the development cycle.

What you'll do…
Responsibilities
• Develop release schedule and Communicate release plans, changes, and related tasks.
• Monitor release progress, performance, and tracking results
• Establish and manage continuous development & improvement process.
• Provide oversight to maintain build health and stability
• Develop the technical build to support automation and performance enhancement of release processes.
• Establish a continuous build process applying methodologies for configuration management and development of software
• Lead the deployment process for all project releases.
• Coordinate internal and external release notes
What skills does EA look for?
An EA Release Manager will have at a minimum, one of the following: 3+ years Project Management or Project Lead experience, 3+ years of experience in a software development environment, or generally 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Preferably at least 2 years' experience in Release Management
• Bachelor's degree in any number of related fields including Computer Science, Game Development, Business, 3D Arts.
• Excellent knowledge of production life cycle, processes, and project planning.
• Experience in a Scrum / Agile software development environment.
• Experience with Jira, Perforce, and UGS
• Proficient in DevOps practices and release pipelines.
• An understanding of interdisciplinary dependencies associated with Live Service teams
• Passion for games.
• A lover of lists

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $122,300 - $170,600 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $104,000 - $170,600 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $137,300 - $170,600 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $111,800 - $151,800 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $104,000 - $174,700 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
