Our team, the Secure Identity Platform (SIP) group part of EA IT, is a new central technology team that designs, develops, and maintains Identity systems that help with Enterprise Single Sign-on, Access Management, Messaging using Mail & Calendar and Critical Identity Infrastructure. Our goal is to create scalable solutions for unphishable authentication across all EA applications, Simplified access management and Secure email communication.

What will you do?

As a quality engineer in our team, you will ensure the quality of the team's deliverables related to user authentication, authorization, identity management and advanced passwordless systems. You will develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and test cases, and executing manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the identity system.

You will work to understand requirements, identify risks, and provide feedback on design and implementation decisions that impact quality. You will also be involved in proof-of-concept (POC) for new technology, work with leads and architects to define technical specification standards, and quality assurance best practices. You will help build the overall testing strategy to include test suite creation, designing test automation, processes, and framework. You are familiar with working in an Agile/Scrum model in a modern DevOps organisation.

You will work with product managers, project managers, architects, security engineers and infrastructure engineers, across the US and other geographies, to drive high levels of quality and user experience providing real-time feedback as the subject matter expert.

Responsibilities
• Work with the Test Lead and Development team to create a sustainable testing toolset that is required to ensure high quality applications delivered by the Secure Identity Platform team.
• Develop comprehensive test suites to allow the team to achieve its project deployment targets using Agile/Scrum principles while achieving a test coverage of 70%-80% or greater
• Perform manual testing for areas that don't meet the test automation parameters
• Identity opportunities for automation testing
• Load and Performance Testing of service APIs and mobile/web apps
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Final rapid sanity/verification regression testing pre & post deployment
• Effectively communicate progress and issues with engineering and product/project managers to ensure verification & validation signoff of issues for ''Ready for Production'' activities
• Ensure all testing processes are well documented with proper technical specifications and maintainable
• Collaborate with multiple project teams (Product Management, Experience Design, Dev/Engineering, & Operations) on requirements and goals for overall project success

Skills
• 7+ yrs of Hands-on experience in Manual and basic levels of Automation testing.
• Expertise in creating exhaustive test scenarios based on user stories & requirements
• Experience in Software Testing Lifecycle, impact analysis, regression testing and accurate test reporting.
• Expertise with defect life cycle and defect management process
• Extensive knowledge on ALM tools such as Jira, Test Rail.
• Experience using Gitlab for repository and CI/CD Pipelines with Jenkins.
• Experience using Confluence for documentation
• Help evolve the future automation framework to Design, develop and maintain automated tests.
• Provide feedback on process improvement when there's opportunity and strive to apply testing best practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills essential to communicate across geographies.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent streams
• 7+ years of Quality engineer experience preferably in the Identity domain
• Knowledge or Experience of the Identity and Access Management is an advantage
• Experience testing in distributed, network systems in Windows, Linux or macOS environment
• Ability to deliver results on time and meeting committed timelines.
