Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Technical Director, you will work with the handling designers to iterate and refine the existing NFS vehicle handling.
• Coordinate with the game designers to build new gameplay modes that require physics input and layers of assists on top of the underlying simulation.
• Work with Frostbite Physics engineers to help guide the Physics engine to best support the NFS franchise long-term vision.
• Develop the skills and careers of the more junior members of your team.
• Further develop interactive physics-based objects in an open world.
• Oversee the physics simulation performance alongside other physics systems such as collision responses or damage.

Qualifications
• 5+ years software engineering experience working on shipped titles.
• C++ game engine knowledge.
• Physics knowledge applied to game worlds is advantageous.
