Manager, Corporate & Policy Communications
Our Global Communications team is looking for a Manager, Corporate & Policy Communications. We are looking for a results-driven communications professional with a strategic, global mindset to join our Global Communications team at Electronic Arts. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will create and execute corporate media relations programs to tell our stories to the player community, investors, partners, and our own employees. You are a strong writer with a proven track record of building an executive's profile internally and externally. You are comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment. You are a self-starter with business media relationships and a passion for creative storytelling with teams around the world.
This role is based at EA's headquarters in Redwood Shores, California.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic communications programs that ladder up to EA's business goals.
• Support EA's executive thought leadership programs, including narrative development, speaking opportunities, bylines, and interviews.
• Write materials from start to finish, including press releases, messaging, statements, presentations, bylines, scripts, and social media posts.
• Support Communications priorities, including but not limited to M&A, Policy Communications, earnings, launches, partnerships, and issues management.
• Collaborate across teams internally to surface proactive storytelling opportunities to create positive coverage for the Brand.
• Develop and leverage media relationships to surface opportunities to tell EA's corporate and brand stories.
Qualifications:
• You are a self-starter, experienced in moving fast, adapting quickly, being entrepreneurial, and getting results, in both proactive and reactive communications.
• You have at least 8 years of experience across communications, public relations, media relations, government affairs or journalism.
• You have both agency and in-house experience managing both corporate and product communications for a public company.
• You can manage multiple priorities and deliverables seamlessly.
• You are a team player, comfortable managing up, across and down.
• You are an avid consumer of news, with recent examples of inserting a company's POV into business and cultural coverage.
• You are experienced working in relationship-based organizations, and partnering with leaders and experts at all levels.
• You have close media contacts at top tier business outlets.
• You have a passion for gaming and entertainment.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field is desired.
