The Challenge Ahead:

We are building EA's Cloud Gaming system to run at scale. It is not only about the delivery of games from the Cloud but also about bringing a comprehensive gaming experience to our users. You'll be part of a team that bridge cross-EA services, enhance the streaming core technology, and bring a unified user experience.

What a Software Engineer II does within EADP Cloud Gaming Division at EA:

As a Software Engineer II, your primary responsibility will be to collaboratively design and develop cloud gaming streaming server's features. You will interact with team members and mutually design and develop various aspects of the system. You will address back-end related components.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in design and development of an innovative cloud gaming platform.
• Investigate new technologies – streaming, encoding, rendering
• Provide the best possible gaming experience to our players in terms of performance and quality

Required Skills / experience
• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering
• 2+ years' experience as a software developer with the following expertise
• • C++
• C#
• Multithreaded systems
• Other skills
• • A wide perspective – the ability to see the complete picture and beyond.
• Scripting language such as Python / JS
• Strong debugging skills
