What does the EA IT Secure Identity Platform Team do?

Electronic Arts is a global leader in digital interactive entertainment. Our game franchises are offered as both packaged goods products and online services delivered through Internet-connected consoles, personal computers, mobile phones, and tablets. EA has more than 600 million active players and operates in 75 countries.
Our team, the Secure Identity Platform (SIP) group part of EA IT, is a new central technology team that designs, develops, and maintains Identity systems that help with Enterprise Single Sign-on, Access Management, Messaging using Mail & Calendar and Critical Identity Infrastructure. Our goal is to create scalable solutions for unphishable authentication across all EA applications, Simplified access management and Secure email communication.

What will you be doing?

This role reporting to Director of Engineering, is for an M365 lead engineer who loves the challenge of engineering and maintaining critical Mail and Calendar services using Microsoft 365 suite of applications that serves the entire company. You will work with security stakeholders to understand evolving security requirements around Mail and Calendar and implement them in the most maintainable fashion. You will also work on migrating emails, calendars, OneDrive & SharePoint data , Microsoft Active Directory, as part of EA's mergers and acquisitions involving Active Directory users, computers, server migrations, and Microsoft 365 tenants.

You will document the technical specifications, implementing automation where it can deliver efficiency, defect-free automation scripts through the development of unit and integration tests, and leverage the use of continuous integration. You are familiar with working in an Agile/Scrum model in a modern DevOps organisation.

You must ensure stellar product quality by following established security best practices. You should also be updated with the changes and roadmap of Microsoft 365 suite of products and Azure AD services.

You will be working with product managers, project managers, Operations teams, Security Architects, quality engineers and infrastructure engineers across the US and other geographies.

Responsibilities
• Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on security, user experience, and architectural design.
• Provide overall Microsoft 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Information Rights Management, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication, and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
• Lead and participate in ongoing Microsoft 365 security and strategy discussions.
• Stay current on all things Microsoft 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
• Document system configurations, standards, and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration
• Experience with Active directory migration between AD forests.
• Provide L3 support

Skills
• 7+ years experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft 365 platform engineering and administration
• Experience with M365 Tenant migration using Quest and Microsoft tools.
• Experience applying technical security standards to Microsoft 365, active directory, windows servers, and workstations.
• Experience in the below areas:

• SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013
• eDiscovery & Intune (Conditional Access ~ MDM ~ MAM)
• Clients (Outlook, Outlook for MAC, IMAP, POP3, Mobile Devices)
• OneDrive for Business
• Data Loss Prevention, Archiving, eDiscovery, and Compliance
• Azure threat protection, Conditional Access
• Hands-on experience with sync engines such as Azure AD Connect.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills to assist with the migration discovery process.
• Knowledge of federation and SSO using Okta and Azure.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services (Hybrid Azure AD, Azure Conditional Access, Azure AD join, Azure AD domain services, Azure VDI etc.)
• Ability to work in multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document efforts and processes consistently and to industry standards.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
• Strong sense of ownership/'can do' attitude
• Ability to dive into difficult problems and deliver results on time and on spec
