This role is specifically for joining Product Management in EA's Mobile organization, helping to develop the next generation of hit mobile games.

The Role

Product managers wear many hats in mobile gaming. You will help us oversee product research, analysis, and feature development to ensure our games surprise and delight players worldwide, while also supporting the strategy and goals of the broader EA Mobile team. More specifically, you can expect to do the following:
• Research trends in competitor games, ask though-provoking questions, and identify opportunities to level up our own products.
• Conduct in-depth data analyses to inform product direction and better understand how players interact with our games.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand product/feature requirements and draw on best practices from across the Mobile organization to deliver detailed technical product requirements and specifications.
• Deliver detailed and data-driven recommendations to studio partners to influence product roadmap(s).

Program Structure

The EA Product Management Internship features more than just hands-on experience; the program includes formal product management education and mentorship in a variety of ways. It is structured around helping you become a well-rounded PM and someone who is steeped in EA's culture!

The program will have the following structure:
• Week 1-2: Crash course on product management in gaming and EA
• Week 3-52: Embed on a game team while participating in New Grad activities to help kickstart your career. Some New Grad activities may include:
• New Grad Dev Days - Dedicated days featuring guest speakers, deep dives into specific topics and opportunities to practice new concepts with peers in a safe environment.
• Careers at EA Speaker Series - Guest speakers around EA speak to next gen talent on the different roles, teams, and organizations at EA.
• Lunch N Learns - Regular talks hosted by various experts across EA to speak on technical & impactful topics for next gen talent.
• Peer Circles & Mystery Coffees - A dedicated space to learn from one another by both listening to and sharing ideas and experiences, creating inclusive spaces, and building deeper relationships with diverse new grads across different functions.
• Professional Coaching - Utilizing our internal resources to receive 1:1 coaching opportunities for new grads to focus on their career journey.
• Year 2+: Graduate our New Hire program and go!

Preferred Qualifications
• Working towards a BS, MS, in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or BS or MS in Business, Marketing, MBA (degree majors not a strict requirement)
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: product management, consumer internet products, design / creative industry (e.g., working at agency), gaming
• High empathy for players
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Strong data analysis skills

Requirements

Must be graduating between December 2021 and June 2022, and available for a start date of May 23rd, 2022 or June 20th, 2022. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full time basis. Visa sponsorship is not yet available for this position.
