ROLE OVERVIEW:
Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team helps provide strategic partnership to leaders across EA. We achieve this through engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help guide EA's performance.

You will partner with internal Mobile FP&A, Commercial and Mobile Studio Leadership teams. Our Mobile team creates engaging and evolving daily entertainment through mobile games people love to play.

Knowledge of the gaming industry, especially free to play business models, advertising and user acquisition are a significant advantage. You will report to the Director of FP&A.

What You'll Do:

Business Partnering
• Develop relationships with leadership to help deliver the long-term strategy
• Guide and assist teams to provide accurate reporting to assist with decision-making and value creation.
• Influence decisions by understanding the big picture combined with providing underlying deep financial analysis
• Prepare and hold business reviews for EA's leadership team

Financial Forecasting and Reporting
• Manage Mobile Platform consolidation (Revenue, Opex, Capex, and Headcount)
• Collaborate with Commercial team on long range, annual and quarterly revenue forecasts by title
• Lead financial reviews with budget owners to develop annual plans and subsequent forecast updates
• Provide analysis to highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance
• Responsible for purchase order approvals, budgeted spend tracking, monthly close activities, and headcount management. Set control processes in place to manage spending and headcount within plan.

Close Responsibilities
• Manage all close activities for assigned departments including identifying and preparing accrual and reclass entries to ensure precise accounting of known activities
• Ensure compliance with EA's policies and procedures.

FP&A Excellence
• Build and retain our world-class FP&A team.
• Manage 2 Senior Financial Analysts
• Identify and lead projects to standardize forecasting and reporting processes

Experience and Technical Skills
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of related financial experience
• Motivated, passionate, comfortable presenting to senior management
• Experienced people manager to lead finance team and provide executive management support
• A team player able to work collaboratively, within the group and across business groups
• Demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility and independence
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
• Business acumen with understanding of functional linkages and build relationships with partners in both operational and financial roles

BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $108,700 - $166,550
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $107,450 - $166,550
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $107,450 - $166,550
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $107,450 - $153,250
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $107,450 - $153,250

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
