Role Overview

The Enterprise Planning and Reporting team is responsible for the coordination, consolidation, reporting and analysis of EA's overall planning and management reporting process. We play a critical role on the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team providing strategic partnership to executive leaders across EA. We achieve this through effectively engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help drive EA's current and future performance.

The Manager plays a highly visible role that will engage with executive leadership to influence quarterly earnings messaging and guidance and will have broad exposure to the business and its strategy. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, possess strong analytical skills, is detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Open to location, the Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Planning & Reporting.

What You'll Do:
• Partner with Investor Relations and Finance Leadership to support Earnings cycle
• Provide financial information, insights, and recommendations to message EA's quarterly results and guidance
• Recommend and review financial numbers, players metrics and facts communicated in the core earnings documents (script, press release, earnings slides)
• Manage the preparation of EA's internal Q&A document, by recommending and reviewing financial numbers, metrics and facts, and develop Finance related questions
• Ensure highest level of accuracy and documentation standard throughout the cycle
• Partner with business and enterprise FP&A teams, Accounting, Investor Relations and Global Analytics
• Organize and supervise the Guest Earnings support program
• Improve / digitalize the supporting documentation process
• Manage Board of Directors and Executive Staff reporting
• Coordinate and oversee the production of recurring and ad hoc financial reporting to the Board of Directors and the Executive Staff
• Craft relevant commentary and provide insightful analysis
• Drive FP&A Excellence
• Lead a new initiative to standardize Global FP&A reporting
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve and automate reporting tools and processes.

Who You Are:

• Strong business acumen with understanding of functional linkages and ability to build strong professional relationships with business partners in both operational and financial roles
• General interest in gaming, mobile entertainment and/or digital businesses.

Preferred Experience and Technical Skills:
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CPA a plus
• Minimum 5 years of related financial experience
• Experience with P&L management, financial modeling, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in accounting and general GAAP knowledge
• Experience with financial forecasting and reporting tools; ideally Anaplan and Power BI.
• People management experience highly preferred, but not required.
