Location: Shanghai, China
Main Responsibilities
Tools Project Management
• You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of tools that support our live operations and feature development.
• You will define and prioritize product backlogs for tools such as our live ops automation systems, content configuration pipelines, and productivity-enhancing utilities.
• You will monitor progress, resolve blockers, and ensure delivery of high-quality tools.
Partner Engagement
• You will be the bridge between our internal customers (e.g., live ops, feature, and content teams) and the tools development team.
• You will gather requirements, define clear specifications, and ensure tool features align with user needs.
• You will conduct regular reviews, demos, and feedback loops with our partners to drive continuous improvement.
Technical Collaboration
• You will work with our engineers to ensure technical feasibility implementation of tools.
• You will participate in solution design discussions and offer insights based on prior game tools development experience.
• You will help establish standards, documentation, and workflows for tool usage and maintenance.
Process & Efficiency Improvement
• You will identify opportunities to optimize development pipelines and operational workflows through tooling.
• You will advocate for automation and data-driven solutions to improve productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in project management within the game industry, with at least 3 years working directly on game tools development.
• Technical background, with familiarity in tools architecture, backend systems, and live operations workflows.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both verbal and written).
• Passion for games, with an interest in soccer being.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and version control systems.
• Experience with live ops content delivery workflows and configuration systems.
• Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal.
• Understanding of database management and API integration for tools development.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
