You're a Configurations Administrator.

You know the ins and outs of the CE tech stack and how to leverage the configurable features to positively impact the player experience. You use your understanding of the CE systems and tools, along with your CE and EA product knowledge when collaborating with the product launch managers in preparation for a game release. You will work with stakeholders from across CE to help them better deliver on their goals and objectives by being the vehicle that drives our push for organizational agility through tech.

We're here to help people (players AND employees) have great experiences with EA.

We're the product managers and system owners of CE's internal tools and processes; we're the user acceptance team for the system deploys. We support the CE organization in sustaining and improving our tools for executing on the operational level while also focusing on the long-term vision for help in EA's network by setting the support strategy for each new game, define the experiences and technology we will build to execute against that strategy, drive the execution of the launch plans, and monitor the health of the experience post-launch.

A typical day in the life of a Configuration Administrator:

Knowledge
• Understanding of the short-term and long-term system roadmaps
• Awareness of product capabilities and features to improve existing configuration or code logic
• Evaluation of products for future integration strategies
• Plug into the roadmap discussions and help drive strategic changes for organizations
• Brainstorming solutions
• Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve defects related to configuration
• Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, development teams, user acceptance testing, and system owners to implement configuration changes
• Process documentation
• Create and validate run books
• Create supporting documentation for implementation of configuration solutions

Stakeholder relationships
• Inform Stakeholders of configuration changes including type, risks, and impacts
• Provide feedback to stakeholders to help drive solutions
• Weekly updates on configuration changes to various groups within the Customer Experience organization

Verifying configuration changes
• Work closely with QA and User Acceptance Testing teams
• Meet with stakeholders to ensure post-launch changes reflect expected results
• Validating configuration changes in lower and prod environments

If you're interested in this role, you'll need these qualifications:
• Some coursework in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related, applicable field
• Cloud Experience with AWS and Salesforce Administration
• 2+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing teams
• 3+ years of experience in the digital entertainment industry (video game industry-specific experience is a plus!)
• 2+ years of experience in customer experience or related roles
• Strong experience working with IT Production Support and Engineering
• Ability to discuss technical details with non-technical audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical writing experience is a plus)
