The newly formed brand team for Electronic Arts is only a few months into building our brand, so all of this is very new. That means we're still making it up as we go along. If you like to set a vision and get stuck in, then this might be your gig. Because we're still relatively new, right now we all muck in on everything and it can be a little messy. The Brand Strategy Director will lead the strategy function setting the strategic foundations, goals, audience approach across both Electronic Arts and our sub-brand.
What you'll work on:
Well first up, you're not alone - you will lead a (small) brand strategy team, spanning brand strategists and consumer insights. Together, your group will provide the foundational strategic tools to strengthen the EA brand:
• Brand strategies to promote growth and future proof the business
• Brand purpose strategy
• Brand audience approaches to increase growth across our franchises
• Brand goals and measurement frameworks
• Brand architecture approach and resulting framework
You'll also provide sub-brand strategies for our brands:
• EA-level product strategies
• Social Impact strategy
• Diversity, equity and inclusion strategy
• And more...
As the leader of this group, your job will be to set the agenda for brand strategy areas of focus. To establish new areas of growth for our brand, to build the relationships that open doors to this work. And to write the business case for the change you want to promote.
