Compatible across multiple platforms and devices, our platform empowers teams to foster deeper, more meaningful relationships with our players. We are building scalable, distributed, real-time services that help creators to design, launch, and operate new and engaging connected player experiences. You will report to Scott Longstreet who is a lifelong gamer with more than a decade of experience in the games industry. Scott has been leading our software engineering teams in Seattle for 5 years and has shipped several AAA games both at EA and at Xbox. https://www.linkedin.com/in/scottqlongstreet/

What you'll do.
• Lead the design of new product features and enhancements to existing functionality.
• Partner with EA's community of game developers to bring innovation to the online game hosting space.
• Contribute to the successful launch of online games from some the industry's top franchises.
• Write high-quality code that supports the functionality of our products.
• Work to ensure quality delivery with unit and integration tests.
• Operate within a distributed team and work with colleagues both local and remote.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development team members.

What we're looking for.
• Passion for delivering high-quality, fault tolerant, globally available services.
• Heart for mentorship and promoting an environment where all team members excel and do their best work
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in software development, and 10 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 10 years of experience using a concurrent, parallel, and multi-threaded programming language
• Experience testing and launching software products.
• Experience leading software design and architecture.
