Responsibilities
NBCUniversal's E! Entertainment is seeking a Los Angeles based Assistant Talent Booker. This role will be responsible for supporting E! News¹ relationship with celebrity publicists, agents and talent managers across E!¹s top-rated network of celebrity content. This position will work closely with celebrity representatives to build strong relationships, book talent and extend the E! brand.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with publicists, television networks, studios, talent agents and managers.
• Support team in booking talent for celebrity appearances and interviews across multiple E! shows and platforms.
• Maintain show talent schedules and calendars.
• Work with production team to set up and coordinate shoots.
• Ideate and pitch creative celebrity content opportunities for E! coverage.
• Stay abreast of pop culture and upcoming entertainment events.
• Light administrative support for Vice President
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years-experience in the celebrity entertainment industry in either TV, print or online publications.
Desired Characteristics
• Strong relationships working directly with personal, network, and studio publicists.
• Experience booking celebrity appearances and cooperative features.
• Experience in a news-gathering organization.
• Must work flexible hours including being available early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Team player who is able to work in a face-paced environment.
• A love of celebrity, entertainment and pop culture.
• Strong judgment and a history of being able to mediate the demands of a news organization with celebrity representatives.
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments and balance priorities as required.
• Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
