The Video Content Creator is a multi-hyphenate role on the Foundry branded video team. We are seeking a skilled, naturally creative individual to produce, shoot and edit digital and social video. This role requires a Preditor background, and the ability to excel working both independently as well as in collaboration with internal video stakeholders. The Video Content Creator is a hands-on role, requiring professional level lighting, camera work, and the ability to edit video in a non-linear manner to produce dynamic branded video content.

Job Responsibilities:

Pre-Production
• Provide creative and technical input on how to approach video capture that follow overall client specifications and guidelines as well as the specific vision for each project
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders upon project kickoff to ensure smooth execution
• Develop the creative treatment and pre-production book for projects when needed
• Lead both internal and external pre-production meetings
• Pre-production tasks such as booking crew, securing locations, creating shot lists, securing equipment (in-house or rentals), conducting talent pre-interviews, creating shoot schedule and call sheets, booking catering
• Providing answers and direction for set
• Occasional scripting and working with talent to deliver VO, when applicable

Production
• Set up and utilize a variety of camera, lighting, and grip equipment
• Operate a variety of camera equipment for content capture
• Run the set and shoot schedule
• Manage crew and talent
• Implement both internal and client feedback in real time to ensure continued DDM brand and client alignment

Post-Production
• Video editing to create a variety of asset types including long-form videos, social content and sizzles
• Manage the post-production process including ingest, editing, rounds of revisions, delivery and archive
• Finishing skills required including light color grading and audio mixing
• Seamlessly applying feedback from internal parties as well as client
• Managing the project video budget
• Tracking vendor contracts, invoices and payments

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years' experience shooting, producing and editing video content in a professional capacity, branded content experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge and experience with the entire production lifecycle, including pre-production, audio and video capture, lighting, studio and on-location environments, editing, and content delivery
• Strong knowledge of various camera, G&E and related video equipment, coupled with the ability to select the best gear for any creative
• Proficient skill in video editing/post-production software, while working specifically in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Proficient skill in producing, lighting and operating cameras for an efficient video shoot
• Experience with quick turnarounds and implementing intensive revisions
• Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills; able to self-manage against production timelines and successfully balance multiple priorities simultaneously
• Able to adapt skills to the aesthetics of each project and thrive in the creative process of implementing the ultimate vision of the content you are working on
• Social video creation experience a plus

Pay Range
Salary: $67,200 - $96,000
