Dotdash Meredith is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Product Manager of Audience Relationships to lead the charge in developing and executing innovative strategies that enhance reader engagement, foster community, and drive revenue growth. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage data-driven insights, and shape the future of our program, ensuring our brands continue to resonate, serve, and grow our audience.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of engagement-focused initiatives, such as optimizing newsletter conversion and retention through the implementation of modals, forms, notifications, and interactive quizzes. You will leverage these tools and tactics to not only capture reader interest but also to continuously nurture their engagement, tailoring their content experiences to their evolving preferences and interests.
About Your Contributions:

Prioritize and drive initiatives across multiple business and stakeholder requests, acting as the product SME from a functional perspective
User-centric focus - Lead and encourage user testing and KPIs across your products. Actively participate in design reviews, and provide a thoughtful point-of-view when it comes to the design of a new feature.
Cross-functional understanding - Walk an engineer and design through requirements, teach the editorial team on how to use a feature, and identify opportunities for collaboration on an idea with Brands, Sales, Growth, Licensing, and other internal product/dev teams.
Team building and connecting - Be a positive force among the agile scrum team, by actively participating, and at times leading, scrum ceremonies, helping to remove impediments, and congratulating the teams on the release of a new feature.
About You:
• 5+ years of hands-on product management-day-to-day product ownership and ideation. Previous experience developing strategy is a plus.
• You have deep knowledge of what makes an excellent publishing brand because you've done this before, e.g. experience at a premium digital publisher.
• Not only can you identify the many ways a brand promotes newsletters, but you can also identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• You have a passion for identifying user problems and pain points.
• Experience with third-party platform integrations like cheetahmail, digioh and iterable are a plus.
• You recognize that many of life's problems don't lend themselves to a one-time cure-all, but are a lifelong journey.
• You're capable of developing a big-picture product strategy for meeting user needs, selling it, and then working out the details to get the plan over the finish line.
• You're excellent at communicating and collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders to build great products.
• You possess an innate desire to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to inform your strategy.
• You're fluent in Agile principles and methodology.
