Job Description
This role will support the Sales and Marketing Team with coordination of marketing and sales execution for both the Studio Store and the El Capitan Theatre; including but not limited to theatrical marketing content, retail planning, and event development and execution. This role will be responsible for creating and executing content for all our social media channels. A team player who supports the overall goal of driving an increase in retail, ticketing, and concessions sales.
Candidates must be creative, communicate well, have the ability to work well under pressure, and be a team player.
Flexible hours are required, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Marketing
• Create content, graphics, and videos for social media
• Live event coverage and influencer management
• Brainstorming digital marketing ideas
• Oversee day-to-day community management by monitoring social posts, providing support to guests and responding in line with the brand voice
• Track and review social analytics to help strengthen campaign strategy
• Assist with maintaining and updating the company's website by managing and publishing content, writing copy, organizing image library, and ensure the website is functional and operating
• Help create and manage signage including marquee, concession menus, promotional posters and other additional signage.
• Responsible for implementing social media strategies to help us stay top of mind with existing and potential customers
• General
• Route and track all creative for review and approval
• Create, coordinate, and maintain sales and marketing calendars
• Maintain historical sales data
• Provide exceptional guest service
Required:
• Four-year College Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or Related Field
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• 1-2+ Years' Experience in Marketing - Film, Entertainment, Theme Park, Retail Sales
• Strong Collaborator, Team Player, Multi- Task, and Drives Strong Results
• Innovation and Creative Marketer
• Strong Communication and organizational skills and ability to interface with all levels of management
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $54,315 to $70,290 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
