Job Summary:
Disney Entertainment Studio Marketing is looking for a Product Marketing Associate to support Disney+ and The Disney Bundle. Reporting to the Manager, Product Marketing, this role will help execute product marketing strategies that drive subscriber engagement and retention. The associate will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing Strategy, Partnerships, Product Management, Engineering, Creative, Data Analytics, Research, CRM, PR, Social, and Regional Marketing to support marketing initiatives that enhance the subscriber experience.
This role is an intermediate-level professional position, ideal for someone expanding their expertise in product marketing within the entertainment/streaming industry. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and eager to develop a deeper understanding of digital product marketing, audience engagement, and streaming growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Support go-to-market initiatives for new product features and subscriber experience enhancements across Disney+ and The Disney Bundle.
• Analyze performance data and audience insights to inform marketing decisions.
• Assist in cross-functional collaboration by gathering research, tracking competitive analyses, and contributing to campaign development.
• Help manage subscriber journeys and product flows, ensuring consistency across marketing touchpoints.
• Create clear, structured campaign briefs that outline key messages, audience segmentation, and performance objectives .
• Support lifecycle and engagement marketing teams by ensuring alignment in messaging, product positioning, and creative execution.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, synthesizing key takeaways to improve future strategies.
• Contribute to product marketing materials (presentations, reports, stakeholder updates) that help align teams on priorities and performance.
• Assist in translating technical product updates into consumer-friendly messaging for marketing efforts.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members, helping them navigate processes and workflows.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience in product marketing, marketing strategy, consumer marketing, or related fields( entertainment/streaming experience a plus).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and contribute to marketing decisions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex information in a clear, straightforward manner.
• Ability to solve routine marketing challenges, using established procedures and technical judgment.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with moderate supervision.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker) and experience with large datasets is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing, preferably in media, entertainment, or streaming.
• Familiarity with CRM, lifecycle marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
• Experience working with global teams and understanding different market needs.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
The hiring range for this position in California is $78,200 to $104,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
