Coordinator, Artist Recruitment (Disney Television Animation)

The Artist Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the administration of employment processes in accordance with hiring guidelines and policies for Disney Television Animation. The Artist Recruitment Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Recruitment team in various aspects of responsibilities from posting positions to coordinating and scheduling all phases of interviews through the offer process. The Artist Recruitment Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of the recruiting team by providing an exceptional level of customer service and quality throughout the recruiting process, ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities:
• Support the Director, Artist Recruitment directly in all recruiting functions
• Schedule meetings and/or events on behalf of the Director and broader Artist Management and Recruiting team
• Schedule and confirm interviews for candidates and hiring teams
• Manage the testing process for candidates as part of skill evaluation
• Maintain responsibility for entry, maintenance, and integrity of data in applicant tracking system (Kenexa, and Workday after implementation) and additional databases
• Generate and format reports to share key recruiting data
• Coordinate with Artist Management (when necessary) to schedule Artist Review Meetings and prepare candidate materials for review
• Assist with continuous updating and documentation of best recruiting practices
• Communicate professionally, tactfully and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect
• Organize off-site recruiting events and attend job fairs as needed
• Represent Disney Television Animation at major conferences, schools and industry events, as needed
• Help to grow our outreach effort with various schools, Animation Recruiters and other Disney units
• Assist with the submission of requests for recruitment marketing materials
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
• Conduct research, as needed
• Perform additional administrative duties that support the recruiting function

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Administrative or Coordinator experience in a professional setting
• Familiarity with the animation, visual effects, comics, film production or related disciplines and industries
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, Kenexa and Workday preferred
• Familiarity with utilizing social media for professional needs, especially LinkedIn
• Ability to work with all types of highly creative, artistic and technical disciplines with proven ability to deal with a variety of individuals, levels and situations in a professional environment
• Strong organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with data in databases or spreadsheets (Excel)
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Must be detail-oriented and be able to identify issues and assist with problem resolution
• Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment
• Efficient multi-tasking and project management skills
• Passion for animation
• A desire to grow in Recruiting and Disney Television Animation
• Ability to do (limited) travel domestically

Preferred Qualifications:
• HR/Recruiting experience, entertainment industry experience, experience in Feature/TV Animation or at a Talent Agency is preferred
• Adobe suite and other design/web applications is preferred

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field is preferred

Additional Information:
• Primarily located in Glendale but will require some travel to Burbank
