Eastham Studios is a cutting-edge production team that creates digital content for an on
demand audience. Located in a state of the art facility with best in class production tools,
Eastham Studios is a team that consists of award winning producers, editors, and
animators. The Eastham Studios Post Production department is tasked with creating the
best in class digital content that covers the entire spectrum from short form, narrative,
unscripted and animation. This content finds its audience across the myriad of Disney
digital online properties and is prominently featured on Disney+.

Disney Eastham Studios is seeking an Assistant Editor to focus on promotional social streaming content as a critical part of our creative studio. This role supports editors, producers, and motion graphics designers in creating forward-thinking content that delivers on the strategic objectives of our team. Must be detail oriented, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Captioning, SRT's, File formats such as ProRes, H.264. The ideal candidate will possess the right balance of technical knowledge and creative ability along with a strong organizational skill set.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing and validating content for editors
• Email/Slack communication amongst multiple teams and external partners
• Project tracking in airtable
• Validating and organizing project archival deliverables

Basic Qualifications:
• • 2+ years of prior Post Production experience in the role of Assistant Editor or relevant role within a digital or traditional media environment.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Adobe Premiere.
• Intensely organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work professionally, calmly and creatively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• A self-starter who instinctively takes charge, has a positive 'team player' approach, and is comfortable in a dynamic and rapidly evolving, matrix environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven skills in creativity, problem-solving, follow-through, attention to detail, and priority setting.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
