Job Description
OverviewWe are looking for a Media Operations Coordinator (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
• Responsibility for the coordination, support and supervision of the digital and non-linear business activities
• Procurement of the necessary materials for digital fulfilment (picture, text, file, metadata)
• Secure delivery of complete media packages according to technical specifications
• Manage metadata in the existing databases
• Coordination, proper planning and prioritization of technical processes and agreed workflows and procedures
• Monitoring complete non-linear supply chain incl. troubleshooting
• Close cross-functional collaboration and communication with Discovery departments in Munich, London and the US
• Support Media Operations Supervisor with other business critical projects as necessary
Qualifications
• Degree or completed commercial and/or technical vocational training in the TV Broadcast and Digital Media area
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in a TV broadcast, VOD, online media and/or social media operational role
• Up to date knowledge of Broadcast and Digital Media video and audio formats and technologies
• Working experience with content and asset management tools (IBMS, Content Explorer or others)
• Excellent organizational, inter-personal and administrative skills
• Strong communication skills in German & English (verbal, written and listening)
• Profound MS Office and google knowledge
