Full-Time, Permanent Position
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Role and Responsibilities
• Grade high-end feature films, TV shows and commercials projects.
• Work in conjunction with Directors and Cinematographers to realize the final look while adding technical and creative input.
• Explore, develop and recommend new color grading techniques when appropriate.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor engineering of color suite as needed.
• Work with Post Producer to assess and fulfill the needs of the project.
• Lead, support and develop colorists and junior colorists.
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Proficient with Color Science. Creative understanding of the nature of color and how people see and interpret it.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Colorist, as well as:
• Proficient in industry standard color correction software. Must specialize in at least one of the following: Resolve, Baselight, Mistika, Lustre.
• Fully capable of accurate time and resource budgeting under pressure and within tight deadlines.
• Experience in non-linear editing platforms, Dolby Vision, HDR, SDR and Stereographic workflows.
• Well organized and capable of multiple assignments.
• Work in the most proactive, creative and professional way to provide the highest level of performance to our clients.
• Maintain the departments best working practice.
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues.
