Job Title: HR Business Partner, APAC

The HRBP is responsible for managing and implementing the APAC People agenda that delivers local and global business goals to support multiple lines of business within Deluxe Media Inc.

The HRBP role is based in (Korea or Singapore), reports to the VP, People (HR) based in Burbank, California and is a key contributor to the team by driving, influencing, and supporting the people and culture aspects of the business. This role will also work very closely with the VP, Global People Operations (PO) and with other People and Operations Partners/ Site leads/Center of Excellence (COE)'s across region.

Key responsibilities:
• Collaborate, advise, and influence APAC and Line of Business (LOB) leadership by establishing credibility, trust, and rapport throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem-solver of business and people issues.
• Provide full-scope HR support to business leaders including recruiting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining staff.
• Lead and execute the strategic planning and implementation of the company's regional expansion initiatives; including preparing employment contracts, preparing policies for each country, including legal review, and prepare benefit offerings.
• Work in diverse, hyperscale environment, and coordinate with team members across multiple time zones and territories, respond promptly to requests, and maintain alignment with project milestones and goal.
• Provide guidance to objectively assess and bring to resolution employee relations issues; identify trends, root causes and solutions to improve organizational/team satisfaction.
• Lead the ongoing design, development, and execution of initiatives, programs, processes, and policies that deliver a top-notch work environment and company culture, such as new hire onboarding, training, and development programs to improve staff skills, leadership competencies, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
• In partnership with the Global HR Operations team, oversee the local Remuneration and Reward/Benefits Program including externally benchmarked salary banding, monthly recognition awards, well-being programs etc.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR data management, reporting, and analytics and be able to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve performance and employee experience.
• Participate in the global benchmark framework to define role requirements and salary banding.
• Support managers and employees on the Deluxe performance review process: planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff contributions.
• Support our Diversity and Inclusion programs, including programming and delivery of events, in partnership with our Employee Resource Groups (ERG's).
• Ensure the organization complies with all applicable regulations, laws and employment standards in all territories.
• With guidance and approval from the Chief People Officer (CPO), oversee and manage People department budget.
• Manage People platforms: Workday, Deluxe Learn and Help Central – Internal ticketing system.

Skills and Experience:
• 6+ years previous experience in HR in a fast-paced, globally matrixed environment
• Strong employment compliance knowledge with ability to interpret and guide employment matters, manage grievances, and investigations in alignment with local employment law and regulations.
• Project management and change management experience.
• Experience within a complex, global, matrix style organization that is fast paced and dynamic:
• Ability to work across multiple time zones & a high level of cultural intelligence.
• Successful track record of partnering with senior leaders.
• Sound commercial awareness & a high degree of concern for the implementation of effective solutions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
• An energetic, self-motivated outlook with a bias for impact.
• Confidence, with ability to be flexible, resilient, and motivated to 'roll up your sleeves' to work in a fast-dynamic environment.
• Ability to multi-task competing priorities and projects.
• An analytical mindset to translate reports and numerical information into solutions for the business.
• Strong consultative, negotiation and advisory skills: A 'team player' mentality who encourages team member collaboration & partnerships.
• Leverage COE's as business needs emerge that can be supported through our Operational teams (e.g. Global Rewards, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Global HR Ops)
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages spoken in the APAC region is a plus.
