The Department: Deluxe Cinema - Distribution
The Deluxe Cinema - Distribution group is responsible for the distribution of all digital content to theaters on behalf of major cinema studio clients. These responsibilities are inclusive of both digital cinema and non-digital cinema content types delivered both electronically and physically. The group is also responsible for a variety of delivery support functions such as physical distribution inventory management, electronic delivery network management, digital cinema key management and distribution, and a 24/365 exhibitor support call center. The group's goal is to advance technology within the theatrical delivery space to stay ahead of our client's ever evolving distribution needs.
The Role: Distribution Network Operations Center (DNOC) Technician
We are looking for a motivated team member to join us for an exciting and rewarding position fulfilling 'behind-the-curtain' roles and responsibilities to enable electronic content delivery to movie theatres across North America. The DNOC Technician is responsible for supporting the installation of remote theater equipment, as well as supporting the delivery of content to theaters. This position will have a 40-hour work week over weekends to support business operations.
What You'll Do:
As a DNOC Technician, your responsibilities will span several key areas:
• Content Management:
• Collaborate on recurring content planning, management, and scheduling.
• Efficiently receive, process, and schedule digital cinema packages (DCPs) for delivery to theaters.
• Create and maintain organized and accurate distribution records and reports.
• Focus on ensuring the smooth and reliable delivery of live events through proactive monitoring and theater support.
• Field Service Support:
• Provide remote installation and maintenance support to on-site field service technicians.
• Perform remote troubleshooting to resolve theater-specific connectivity issues.
• Guide and support theater personnel in performing on-site troubleshooting and installation tasks remotely.
• Perform remote configuration and testing of site equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Network Connectivity:
• Proactively identify, isolate, and resolve network connectivity problems at individual theater sites.
• Escalate broader network issues to the appropriate teams for swift resolution.
• Remotely review, diagnose, and maintain the health of theater equipment.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Provide support for DNOC installation, maintenance, and content distribution activities.
• Become a go-to resource for troubleshooting and resolving content delivery issues.
• Complete time-sensitive content management tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining overall network health through assigned tasks.

• Flexibility working a 40-hour week that includes weekends and potential non-standard business hours to support operations.
Bonus Points For:
• Strong technical aptitude and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Linux command-line interface (CLI), SSH, RDP, RAID configurations, Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs), and/or technical documentation.
• Prior job experience in a Local Area Network (LAN) environment, working with networked systems, appliances, and/or servers.
• Previous experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or a similar fast-paced technical support environment.
