Position: Senior Sales Engineer
Location: Burbank, CA

We currently have an opening for a Senior Sales Engineer. This position will be a hybrid remote option. Please see responsibilities for additional in-person requirements.

Summary:
The Senior Sales Engineer role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions across Deluxe's current and potential portfolio of clients. Deluxe's goal is to rethink current methods and provide options and solutions that are equally beneficial to the company and our clients. This role will be client-facing, working directly with our clients and internal stakeholders with a key focus on Localization and emerging developments in artificial intelligence. Partnering with the VP, Solution Architect, a core responsibility will be in ensuring the solutions are profitable business for Deluxe by translating customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals is key. The ideal candidate will have and maintain a strong operational and technological background, including established and emerging business model solutioning.

Responsibilities:
• Provide and drive vision to proposed corporate solutions
• Analyze customer technology, define customer workflow and process requirements and oversee customer communication in project implementation.
• Provide technical presentations to customers and technical training to Deluxe's Strategic Accounts team
• Assist the Strategic Accounts team in identifying new markets and opportunities, while providing direct feedback to the Product Management team on ways to improve existing solutions
• Lead POCs and deployment of solutions
• In collaboration with Training & Implementation teams, develop and maintain technical documentation including product guides, technical specifications, and knowledge base articles, to aid customers and internal stakeholders in understanding and utilizing solutions
• Provide costings and other supporting data to assist in pricing of customer solutions and services
• Participate in RFI/RFP discussions in line with company objectives
• Prepare ad hoc analyses as requested by management
• Travel when necessary to meet current and prospective clients
• Attend industry conferences and report back to internal stakeholders

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ year experience within the media and broadcasting industry, especially around media preparation and media distribution
• An understanding of the TV/Media global industry and dominant players
• An understanding of the technical and operational aspects of media workflows within a broadcaster, PayTV platforms and telco
• Expert in presenting and communicating complicated scenarios in easy-to-understand ways
• Operational knowledge of Localization supply chains
• Familiarity with emerging artificial intelligence technologies in Localization (ex: ASR, MT, TTS)
• International experience including experience of multicultural teamwork
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks
• Solid communication (written and verbal) skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Experience at a studio and vendor role a plus
• AWS Certification is a plus

This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
