Director, Business Analysis

Position Summary

The Director, Business Analysis role is designed to identify, prioritize, and drive process improvements across Deluxe across its client portfolio based on discovery, gap analysis, and participation in transformation projects. This role will work with internal stakeholders across Finance, Billing, Client Services, Sales, Operations, and Product to identify and improve process pain points and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) that further company goals. On transformation projects, both operational and technology in nature, this role will assist with process documentation, requirements gathering, and monitoring and driving change among users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement or consulting, and working with cross-functional teams, particularly in Technology and Finance.This position will be remote, but proximity to Burbank, CA is preferred.

Main Duties
• Review outstanding process and technology-related pain points, and recommend and implement solutions
• Work with internal stakeholders across Finance, Billing, Client Services, and Operations to prioritize and resolve pain points, and establish SOPs that improve process efficiency and standardization
• Prepare ad-hoc and project-related process documentation to outline ''as is'' and/or ''to-be'' processes
• Investigate root cause for issues raised by management, clients, or internal stakeholders and propose corrective actions
• Present research findings and proposals to Executive Leadership on a regular basis
• Collaborate with Project Management Office to plan and execute major transformation initiatives, including re-organizations, system implementations, and management-driven improvement programs
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses as requested by management
• Collaborate with Product to incorporate research and findings into long-term solutions for process efficiency
• Assist with requirements gathering, user story documentation, and driving user adoption on major technology projects

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, MBA a plus
• 10+ year experience in consulting or process improvement
• The ideal candidate will have great analytical acumen
• Expert in presenting and communicating complicated scenarios in easy-to-understand ways
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) required, including advanced Excel skills
• Solid communication (written and verbal) skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Comfortable working in a demanding fast-paced environment, taking on new tasks, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven department
• Can create complex financial models analyzing risk vs reward
• Has managed complex, long-term transformational projects with success
• Experience at a studio and vendor role a plus

This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $148,750 - $175,000 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
