Position Title

Data I/O Manager

Position Summary

The Data Manager for Deluxe Cinema Data department is responsible for all Data I/O and Data Archive operations, including management of union operators. They ensure that the department efficiently contributes to the smooth flow of production operations, meets required timelines and is compliant with all security protocols. Cooperation with other departments for equipment, technology and workflow maintenance/development is key. Daily troubleshooting and fulfillment of upper management tasks will be required.

Main Duties
• Manage Data operations personnel, including union operators
• Coordinate all shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for business needs
• Ensure Data operations workflows are flowing smoothly without issue
• Communicate and collaborate with management from other departments
• Partner with Engineering to coordinate system downtime and maintenance
• Report and advise upper management on issues or potential improvements
• Perform workflow assessment before deployment
• Collaborate with department leads both globally and locally to implement new workflows
• Produce high-quality documentation and provide training for all new software, procedures, and workflows
• Ensure all security protocols are followed by Data operations
• Ensure the SAN is maintained and all needed data is properly archived
• Ensure 100% accuracy for all deliveries, both internal and external

What You Bring
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Digital Cinema Production
• One (1) to two (2) years of experience in program management and customer service
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in High-Pressure situations (Deadlines/High-Profile client/vendor interactions)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate leadership ability
• Knowledge of Digital Cinema workflows and standards
• Experience with Database layout and functions
• Ability to provide internal technical support, answer technical questions, provide critical thinking to solve and prevent problems
• Experience with Data I/O and Archive workflows, standards and best practices
