Position Overview

The Creative Dubbing Supervisor for our English Dubbing department is to be a key pillar in the team's overall creative process. They will be responsible for overseeing creative direction, up leveling overall quality and shaping unique localization approaches on a per title basis. The Creative Dubbing Supervisor will be a leader who understands all the steps of the localization process with experience specific to overcoming the challenges of English Dubbing.

Primary Responsibilities
• Being a creative vision alongside our directors, producers and clients during the localization process.
• Collaborating with our internal scripting and creative teams to achieve a high-level of detail and efficiency when producing creative letters, localization lists and show guidelines.
• Shaping and overseeing the department's creative QC processes, including reviewing: script adaptations, creative letters, casting choices, director and talent performances, mix playbacks and overall client feedback.
• Understanding specific localization challenges and casting requirements while clearly communicating with clients, creatives and producers to provide effective project options.
• Reviewing content to identify adequate selections for both internal and client VTKs.
• Assisting in various production steps where needed: adaptation, directing, casting, QC
• Contributing to the creation of department training courses and production workshops
• Strengthening relationships through correspondence with talent and performers.
• Helping to develop and expand our talent database both in the US and Internationally.
• Work with developers to create and enhance comprehensive casting tools, QC tools and metric tracking.
• Adhering to all content security and confidentiality requirements during production.

Qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of localization experience, with 2-3 years specifically in English Dubbing.
• Experience with sensitive and complex casting/project requirements.
• Comfortability in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with Directors, Producers and Clients.
• Strong attention to detail, nuance and creative intent.
• Thorough understanding of dubbing workflows, standards and technologies.
• Experience participating in English Dubbing sessions desired; adapting, directing, casting, QC
• Having an established network within the entertainment industry in various production fields; television, film, animation, gaming, localization.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
• Competency in word processor and spreadsheet software (Office, GSuite, etc.).

This is not a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will be required to spend time on-site to attend recording sessions, client mix reviews and interact with creative, admin and production teams across our studios in Hollywood, Culver City and Burbank.

This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
