Billing Credit Analyst, Localization
The Billing Credit Analyst will have a dual role - 50% time spent on performing research on invoices and identifying root causes for billing issues, 50% time spent dedicated to assisting in and preparing/processing billing transactions and invoices. Part of the Analyst responsibilities will require communication with clients and resolving disputes. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
Job Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
• Investigate past due invoices, identifying root causes for not receiving payment or working closely with the Collections and Client Service Representatives to receive payment from clients
• Interface with operations, sales, client services and clients as needed to gather information, research disputed transactions, and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor progress of resolution and track daily action taken to recover payments
• Review invoices to make sure the proper services, rates, hours, and PO were used
• Review completed jobs to ensure that line-item charges are correct
• Generate credit/rebill invoices as needed
• Research and resolve client disputes and inquiries
• Prepare invoices for clients
• Prepare/input Localization billings into SAP
• Review open billing reports and follow-up with client services to drive billing throughout the month
• Process accurate daily/weekly and monthly billings in a timely manner
• Offer other financial research support to the Localization team
• Support the Finance department as needed
• Read, prepare, and process work orders for Localization billing
• Perform special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses as requested by management
What You Bring
• The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill set:
• Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing a wide range of data to uncover trends and billing issue root causes
• Data input experience using SAP accounting software
• Operations knowledge of billing and invoicing processes using multiple rate cards and contracts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) required, including advanced Excel skills, especially Vlookup functionality and pivot table experience
• Strong analytical acumen
• Excellent customer service skills
• Solid communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to details
• Demonstrated history of exercising a proactive approach with good follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks
• Ability and willingness to interact effectively with different multiple personalities and styles, within and outside the organization
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and plan well in order to meet deadlines, without hesitancy to ask for direction or assistance/guidance from supervisors
• Comfortable working in a demanding fast-paced environment, taking on new tasks, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven department
• Background and experience in Post-Production industry a plus
