Position Title

Adaptation Supervisor – English Dubbing

Position Summary

The Adaptation Supervisor for our English Dubbing department is to be the principal team member responsible for our adaptation quality. They will work with the pool of freelance talent to elevate our adaptations to a consistently high level, becoming a key ingredient of our final product. They will also be the driving force behind adaptation workflow improvement and efficiency.

Main Duties
• Reviewing adaptations for consistency and quality and providing feedback.
• Shaping and managing the department's overall adaptation workflow.
• Communicating with clients and producers regarding adaptation requirements.
• Managing freelance talent and working with the coordination team to achieve a high-level of efficiency and quality.
• Help develop and expand the available adapter talent pool.
• Work with internal teams to create efficient workflows and tools to assist in adaptation.

What You Bring
• Minimum 8 years of collective scripting/writing experience, with at least 3-4 years working on localized English adaptations.
• Experience with complex individual and culturally sensitive content.
• Able to critique and provide feedback to others in constructive ways.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
• Comfortability in fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of dubbing workflows and technologies a plus.
• Exceptional competency in word processor and spreadsheet software. (Office, GSuite, etc.)
