The Job:
The CW Television Network is currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our Marketing team. The Operations Manager is a highly organized, self-starter to help manage post-production operations at The CW Facility. This person should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in entertainment post-production, and a working knowledge of general audio and video specifications as well as codecs and broadcast processes.
The Daily:
• Plan and Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets to support production schedules and project requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor Production Assistants fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor expenses and manage costs within approved budgets.
• Oversee and coordinate the workflow for scheduling VO artists and working with talent agents.
• Monitor and track the delivery of video assets.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with production, HR and Finance team to develop and manage the freelance budget for project-based staffing needs.
• Identify and engage with outside vendors.
• Managing calendars and department communications to establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure smooth information flow and collaboration among teams.
• Managing software applications, administration and licensing.
The Essentials:
• BA Degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in network/cable television postproduction
• Avid Systems Experience
• Telestream, Vantage/Frame.io/Aspera experience
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Creative problem solving and adaptability.
The Compensation:
$70K – $80K/yr commensurate with experience and skill levels.
