The CNN Digital Research & Analytics team is seeking a Senior Analyst to focus on digital advertising data insights and strategy. This role will play a critical part in monitoring the health of our digital advertising business, analyzing ad performance, assessing revenue drivers, and providing actionable insights to optimize monetization. Working closely with leadership, sales, ad operations, and product teams, the senior analyst will deliver data-driven recommendations that improve performance across our digital properties. This position will also support data governance initiatives, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability across our ad measurement framework.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Data Analysis – Monitor key revenue health indicators and identify anomalies in ads data to steer ad product and technical product investigations.
• Reporting & Visualization – Develop and maintain intuitive self-serve reporting tools for product leads and other stakeholders using best practices in data visualization.
• Analysis – Conduct ad hoc deep-dive analyses to unpack what's driving the impact for new product features.
• Cross-Functional Partnership – Collaborate with business partners across growth, finance, engineering, and product teams to understand how they are driving change and to measure the impact.
• Communication of Results – summarize findings to influence senior collaborators at CNN, communicating complex technical data into actionable business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Quality Assurance – Ensure dashboards and reporting systems remain accurate, consistent, and updated as needed.
Qualifications & Experience…
• 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in Digital Ads Analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, with an interest in growing that skillset.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Domo, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conveying complex messages and findings to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Solid time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
Nice to Have…
• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience in digital media advertising with a strong understanding of key revenue health indicators.
• Demonstrated ability to tell compelling business stories with data.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in support of agile product development.
• Familiarity with DBT, or an eagerness to learn.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $87,500.00 - $162,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
