Job Description
We are looking for Concept Development Editor to work on developing revenue-driving, cross-platform sponsorship opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong partnerships across the organization, including CNN Editorial and CNN Sales. You will ensure that compelling creative ideas and content are developed, aligned with the CNN brand, and engaging for our audiences across all platforms.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Provide a strategic view on content solutions for sales and sponsorships
• Work with the sales, editorial and the Insights team to develop new cross-platform sponsorship opportunities and to respond to sales briefs
• Responsible for working in conjunction with the VP of Concept Development and editorial teams on editorial priorities to give direction in sponsorship pitches
• Partner with editorial teams across linear and digital to ensure sponsorship ideas are well coordinated with their editorial teams.
• Play a key part of the overall performance of direct reports including talent acquisition, performance management, career development and creating a high performing culture, as appropriate.
• Visualize sponsorship concepts for sales; creating and presenting PowerPoint and Keynote presentations.

Qualifications & Experience…
• Experience in editorial and/or production roles
• Ability to find great stories and craft new series
• Knowledge of various content platforms (linear, digital, social, etc)
• Working knowledge on audience data tools and insights
• Strong communication, writing, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
