Overview:
This is an opportunity to join the team as an Account Executive. This role must possess strong presentation and communication skills, experience working with advertising agencies, and embrace selling all our digital and streaming platforms. Candidates will negotiate business between Agencies, clients, and the CBS Owned and Operated Stations.

Responsibilities:
• Achieve quarterly sales goals
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with media buyers and others at ad agencies
• Effectively research and cultivate new business clients
• Build, manage, & scale the revenue pipeline with advertisers, agencies & partners
• Develop sales tools to effectively present and position the television stations during the sales process
• Collaborate and relationship-build across various internal departments including sales, marketing, traffic, and finance as well as external (3rd party) vendors.
• Uncover revenue opportunities for our digital and streaming platforms EyeQ, CBSN New York and cbsnewyork.com
• Communicate well with station management
• Provide solid forecast information on the account list
• Handle all paperwork in a timely matter
• Embrace the CTS-Corporate pillars of Content, Culture, & Community
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
• Local media sales experience working internally or with another broadcast organization or advertising agency.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts & define value propositions on behalf of CTS
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Wide Orbit
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $74,400.00 - 107,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
