CBS News is seeking a Coordinator to support the Senior Vice President of Talent Strategy. In addition to serving in an administrative capacity, this individual will assist in managing short and long-term projects.
• Serve as first point of contact for executives, agents and on-air talent
• Provide administrative support for the executive including but not limited to: answering phones, coordinating schedules/travel and meetings, managing calendar, overseeing office supply inventory and preparing expense reports.
• Assist with short and long-term projects, research and presentations; running point on some
• Maintaining specially designed salesforce digital directory, keeping and updating detailed records, profiles, tracking as well as organize a variety of business documents in a secure manner
• Assist in sourcing and onboarding on-air talent and pursuit of non-traditional talent
• Keep executive abreast of trends and new developments in the news space by reading industry publications, monitoring social media and tracking competitor's initiatives
• Providing good judgement in monitoring and prioritizing information flow and meetings throughout the day
• Assemble and distribute daily newsletter to correspondents
• Manage all talent relations in our digital directory

Regularly update directory system with agent notes, team notes, recent

• BA/BS from an accredited University or College
• • At least two year of recruiting and/or talent management experience
• Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
• Ability to be pro-active, anticipate scheduling/organizational challenges and suggest solutions in a timely manner
• Ability to interact professionally with high profile talent and executives
• Familiar with or willing to learn the television landscape, including talent, networks and executives
• Organized and works efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Internet resources, including social media
• Understanding Salesforce is a plus
