Position Overview

Cast & Crew is currently recruiting for a high-energy and experienced Director of Sales. The Director position is highly client-facing and is responsible for identifying new clients for sales opportunities, as well as maintaining and strengthening relationships with high-profile production accountants, line producers, and some studio executives. This position is critical for understanding daily issues that arise with clients and coordinating responses with the proper department to resolve. The successful candidate will be energetic, intuitive, well-organized, and a self-starter. The Director of Sales position reports to the VP of Sales.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and maintains relationships with studio executives and production accountants
  • Research industry trades and online resources to keep current on industry changes and identify leads
  • Acquire new clients by proactively reaching out to leads
  • Research existing clients’ business needs and issues
  • Creates and submits Sales rate sheets to potential clients
  • Assist with collecting past due balances as needed
  • Attends Sales functions as necessary
  • Invite clients to events and host suites as necessary
  • Coordinate with Products, Customer Success and Support teams to better understand products and developments and stay current on enhancements and integrations
  • Publicly speak about and promote the products and services offered by Cast & Crew and affiliates
  • Other related duties as assigned


Requirements

  • Four year college degree preferred
  • Multi-level relationship building skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability
  • Ability to work towards team and individual goals
  • Must exhibit sense of urgency with regard to client servicing
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent PC skills (Excel and Word proficiency a must)
  • Flexibility to shift priorities as needed to service the team’s clients
  • Understanding of and commitment to maintaining current knowledge of industry trends, concepts, products, practices and financial arrangement
  • Must have the ability to break payroll and learn advanced concepts when ready
  • Self-motivated, must be able to work independently, goal oriented and people oriented
  • Schedule must be flexible to accommodate workload and client needs.


Special Work Conditions

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
