CAA Brand Consulting is hiring for a PR and Communications Director to join our award-winning London team and support across our portfolio of international sport & entertainment brands.

We are seeking an experienced and capable senior PR and Communications professional with a proven track record advising brands across owned, earned and paid media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our Newsroom (PR & Comms) function forward - helping our clients tell their stories to the audiences they want to reach, through brand partnerships and sponsorships in sport, entertainment and social impact.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the Head of Client Servicing and managing a small team, this person will be the PR-lead for Brand Consulting in London working across multiple accounts and new business opportunities.

This individual will have the knowledge and expertise to develop, implement and measure strategic PR and communications campaigns across international markets, that drive value and cultural relevance for our clients. The role requires a high level of strategic advisory, creative flair, hands-on delivery and client servicing experience. Previous agency experience is preferrable but not essential.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

What does the role involve?
• Strategic planning, implementation and management of UK & International communications campaigns across paid, owned and earned media (focus on earned)
• Proficient at providing strategic PR counsel to senior client stakeholders
• Creating bold, editorially led ideas that generate headlines and column inches
• Maintaining strong relationships with key high-level media across all relevant clients
• Tracking campaign effectiveness using relevant PR measurement techniques and tools
• Contribution to new business pitches that require communications strategy and ideation
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good organisation, time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Media partnership negotiation and delivery

What are we looking for?
• A senior PR & Communications professional with significant experience working on brand campaigns in sport and entertainment
• Excellent media relations across news, sport, lifestyle & culture, business
• A results-driven character when implementing campaigns
• Exceptional copywriting and communication skills
• A sophisticated understanding of how earned media and public relations enables clients to achieve their business objectives
• A strong knowledge of the UK media landscape, and being able to offer our team and client counsel on trends, requirements and needs of the media
• Be able to work quickly and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Oversee day-to-day account teams, ensuring that all client- facing work is completed to deadline and meets client expectations and standards
• An approachable source of knowledge for team members, providing sound advice and direction
• Proficient in estimation, tracking and management of campaign fees and expenses
