The Role

The Human Resources Program Manager will be responsible for the overall smooth and compliant execution of human resource processes for CAA's Los Angeles office (65%). Additionally, the position will be responsible for working closely with the Los Angeles Office Human Resources Leader to: ensure annual human resources goals are being tracked and achieved, use data analytics to develop compelling narratives and solutions, and identify/drive process improvements (35%).

Responsibilities
• Have an in-depth understanding of all in-scope HR processes and workflows, physical and electronic (ex: I9 document review, new hire policy completion, exit processes, etc.) for the Los Angeles office
• Perform regular audits of in-scope processes to ensure compliance. Escalate areas not in compliance and develop plans to address
• Use information from audits and market research to drive local process improvements
• Perform regular audits on information contained in HRIS system (particularly organizational reporting structures) and work with HR Operations and Finance teams to update
• Document in-scope processes in procedure manuals and training materials, updating as necessary
• Work with Human Resources Leader and team to understand annual priorities. Create mechanisms for tracking progress on each priority, resources required, and where there are conflicting resource needs/timelines
• Develop and manage annual human resources calendar for Los Angeles
• Work closely with Data and Analytics team to drive process insights and trend data and develop compelling narratives to help leadership understand actions required
• Develop format for Los Angeles HR calendar along with communication and tracking mechanisms
• Train new and existing HR department members on processes including new/updated processes
• Collaborate with other offices to leverage best HR practices

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Three (3) or more years of work experience in a human resources function required
• Demonstrated understanding of key human resources processes and compliance requirements (onboarding, exits, I9 document review)
• Demonstrated experience owning, auditing, and improving processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
• Able to work collaboratively and build productive relationships across levels and functions
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of an organization
• Experience with HRIS system required, experience with Workday systems a plus.
• Extremely flexible, proactive, highly organized, and ability to shift priorities, multi-task, and handle heavy work flow processing
• Strong tactical execution skills
